Our services combine maintenance and custom-built solutions for small to medium venues, arts organisations, schools, and independent operators, providing practical technical support backed by industry experience.
Across metro and regional WA, we provide on-site technical support for lighting, audio, and associated systems, ensuring your equipment is working correctly and ready to use. This includes fault diagnostics, technical gear installation, and commissioning when repairs or upgrades are needed.
All faults and support requests can be made through our reporting system. We review and respond to all requests within (add a timeframe here), and keep in clear communication with your team during this time to resolve all issues.

Our scheduled maintenance is focused on keeping lighting and audio systems safe and compliant. We offer test and tag, routine checks, cable testing and annual inspections in line with AS/NZS standards. We also carry out fan and filter cleaning, and functional testing to ensure your technical equipment is operating reliably and efficiently.
All testing and inspections are documented, and full reports are provided for compliance and maintenance tracking. If your venue requires regular, ongoing support, we offer tailored maintenance packages to keep your systems consistent and ready for use.
From our workshop, we provide services for custom builds, set lighting, and unique technical projects. We are committed to creating solutions to meet all specific requirements, as well as modifying or repairing existing equipment when needed.

We test and tag a wide range of electrical equipment in compliance with AS/NZS 3760 standards, including cables, general electrical items, 3-phase equipment, and lighting, audio, and video systems commonly used in technical and performing arts environments.
Testing is recommended at a minimum of once every 12 months to maintain safety and compliance. We issue tags valid for up to 12 months only, in line with our service standards.
All testing and inspections include full documentation for compliance and asset tracking. We can also schedule your next service in advance, helping ensure your equipment remains up to date and nothing falls out of compliance.
Simply scan the QR code on your service tag to report a fault instantly, or submit a request via www.hazetechnical.com/qrlanding.
External users can also log issues, and our team will follow up directly.
Once submitted, a ticket is raised in our system. We assess the issue, get in touch if needed, and arrange diagnostics or repairs to minimise downtime and keep things moving.
We are not a licensed electrical contractor. While we hold the relevant certifications for the services we provide, our work does not extend to fixed wiring or electrical installation work that requires a licensed electrician.
We are also not able to provide direct engineering, architectural, or structural advice. Where required, we’re happy to work alongside qualified electricians, engineers, and project professionals to ensure systems are implemented correctly and aligned with project requirements.
We primarily operate within the Perth metro area, while also welcoming and encouraging service requests from regional locations across Western Australia.
We schedule services in advance, typically around one month ahead for new bookings. If urgent assistance is required, we’ll do our best to accommodate call-outs where possible.
Services can be booked ahead of time, with automatic reminders available for upcoming testing and maintenance, helping ensure nothing falls out of date.
For equipment that cannot be repaired on-site, or requires further diagnostics or parts, we offer an off-site repair service. Equipment can be transported to our workshop where more detailed servicing and testing can be carried out.
While turnaround times are not guaranteed due to fault complexity and parts availability, we aim to assess, communicate, and progress repairs as efficiently as possible. You’ll be kept informed throughout the process and notified as soon as equipment is ready.
We require clear, unobstructed access to the site and relevant equipment to carry out works efficiently and safely.
Please advise in advance of any site inductions, permits, or access requirements. We also ask that you notify us of any access challenges or restrictions, including limitations around the use of EWPs, ladders, or other plant and equipment.
Where possible, we recommend scheduling services during quieter periods, with minimal public or staff presence, to allow work to be completed safely and without interruption
All services are billed via invoice. Our technical services are primarily labour-based, and we provide clear estimates before commencing any work.
Payment options include direct bank transfer and online credit card payments, with straightforward billing designed to suit venues, organisations, and independent operators.
Please note that pricing may vary if the scope of work changes or additional services are required. Any variations will be communicated clearly before proceeding.
We don’t supply crew or production labour directly. However, we can connect you with trusted freelance technicians from our network to support your project where required.
Our focus is on delivering behind-the-scenes technical services, ensuring your systems are set up and functioning properly so your team can operate at their best
