Managed Storage takes the hassle out of storing and tracking your items. We maintain a live inventory, and through our web app, you can view, manage, and even list items for rent, all in one place.

With Managed Storage, you’ll receive a login to our web app where you can view, manage, and stay on top of everything you’ve stored anytime and anywhere.

What security measures are in place at your storage warehouse?

Haze Technical is committed to maintaining a secure environment. Our facilities are equipped with video surveillance and an alarm system to ensure the safety of our premises, equipment, and your goods.

When can I access my stored goods?

Access to your stored goods is available by appointment only, to ensure the safety and security of all items. Appointments are available during our business hours, which can be found on our Contact Us page.

Booking is simple: just create a calendar event and send it to storage@hazetechnical.com —we’ll confirm availability ASAP.Alternatively get in touc with us directly to arrange a time.

After-hours access is possible with advance notice, a fee of $150 Including GST applies.

While we aim to be as available as possible, access is not guaranteed at all times, so we recommend booking in advanced so we can accomodate you.

Are maintenance or delivery included in the storage fees?

No, these services are not included in standard storage fees. All additional services such as maintenance and deliveries are quoted based on your specific requirements.

For managed storage items, we can provide tailored quotes and schedule regular maintenance during the initial setup of your storage plan.

Any labour beyond standard storage handling will incur additional charges.

Are my stored goods insured?

Haze Technical do not provide insurance coverage for stored goods and do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to your property.

It is the client’s responsibility to arrange appropriate insurance for their items at all times while in storage. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to ensure your goods are adequately covered.

Please refer to our Terms and Conditions and Storage Agreements for further details on insurance.

What Terms and Conditions apply to Haze Technical's services?

All services provided by Haze Technical fall under our General Terms and Conditions. Additional agreements apply depending on the nature of the service:

Storage services are covered by a Storage Agreement.
Rental of listed items is governed by an On-Hire Consent Agreement.
Each individual rental is subject to a signed Rental Agreement.

We recommend reviewing the relevant agreements carefully before engaging our services. If you have any questions, our team is happy to assist.

Can I get to choose where my items are stored within the warehouse?

While we will consider any specific requests, the final placement of stored goods is at the discretion of Haze Technical. This allows us to optimize space, safety, and operational efficiency across our facility. Rest assured, all items are stored securely and handled with care, regardless of their location within the warehouse.

Are my items stored with items from other clients

Yes, our warehouse is a shared storage space used by multiple clients. However, the way your items are stored depends on the type of storage you choose:

Half-pallet and full-pallet storage - these are exclusive to your items only.
Bulk or single-item storage - these may be co-mingled with other clients’ items in shared areas.

To ensure accuracy and security, all items are clearly labeled with a unique ID. We take great care to store everything in an orderly and traceable manner. This system allows us to maintain efficiency while keeping your goods safe and properly accounted for.

Can I Store Costumes or Fabrics?

Yes, you can store costumes and fabrics with us. Please note that while our storage is indoors and secure, it is not temperature-controlled. We recommend considering this when storing sensitive materials such as costumes, textiles, or other fabric-based items that may be affected by changes in temperature or humidity. If you have specific preservation needs, feel free to contact us to discuss suitable options.

Are there any restrictions on storing hazardous or high-value items?

Yes. To ensure the safety of all stored goods, certain hazardous or high-value items must be reported in advance. Please refer to our list of restricted items below for guidance. All hazardous or high-value items must be clearly detailed in your initial enquiry.

Additional handling fees may apply depending on the nature of the items. Haze Technical reserves the right to refuse storage of any items. We take our responsibility to maintain a safe storage environment seriously. If you're unsure whether your items fall under these categories, please contact us for clarification.

To ensure the safety of all stored goods and compliance with regulations, the following items must be declared in advance and are subject to review and approval:

- Flammable liquids (e.g., gasoline, paint thinners)
- Compressed gases (e.g., propane, butane)
- Corrosive substances (e.g., acids, bleach)
- Explosives or fireworks
- Paint
- Toxic chemicals or Pesticides
- Radioactive materials
- Batteries (especially lithium-ion in bulk)
- Precious metals (e.g., gold, silver)
- Jewelery or gemstones
- Cash or negotiable instruments
- Collectibles or antiques
- Electronics of high value
- Artwork or rare artifacts
- illegal substances or contraband
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons (Including Props)
- Perishable goods or food items
- Live animals or plants
- Personal documents or irreplaceable records

Is Managed Inventory required for storage?

No, an itemised inventory is not required, but we highly recommend it. Choosing to itemise your stored goods unlocks the full potential of our service.

We’ve kept this feature optional to ensure flexibility - basic storage of non-itemised goods is still available for clients who prefer a simpler solution.

What if my items require special handling or storage?

If your items have special handling or storage requirements, please be sure to include these details in your initial enquiry. We understand that some goods may have unique needs, and we’re committed to accommodating them wherever possible.

Custom handling instructions are welcome, additional fees or labour charges may apply depending on the complexity of the request. Our team will work with you to ensure your items are stored and managed with the care they require.

These conditions will extend to any potential renters of your items.

Do you offer space for vehicles, sea containers or bulk storage?

At this time, we have limited space and are unable to accommodate vehicles, sea containers or large-scale bulk storage.

However, this is a service we are actively exploring for the future. If you're interested, please reach out to express your interest we’d love to hear from you and keep you informed as our capabilities expand.

How can I maximise my storage at Haze Technical?

Use uniform and stackable containers -These help maximize vertical space and improve overall efficiency.

Avoid awkward or loose items - Irregularly shaped or unpackaged items are more likely to get misplaced and are harder to store efficiently.

Organized, well-packed items not only save space but also make it easier to manage your inventory and access what you need.

 Can I share our storage space with others?

Yes, sharing purchased storage space is allowed. However, we do not split billing between parties. One person or organisation must be designated as the primary contact and will be responsible for all communications, payments, and agreements related to the shared storage. This setup helps us maintain clear accountability while still offering flexibility for shared use. 

Do you provide pallets, crates or containers for transporting goods?

Yes, Haze Technical may offer pallets, crates, and other containers for your convenience. These containers may be used outside of our premises; however, they remain the property of Haze Technical at all times. Please note that fees will apply for any lost or damaged containers.

Who can access my stored goods?

Access is restricted to the primary contact listed on the account. If someone else needs to access your items, we require prior written notice including their full name and contact details.

All visitors may be requested to present valid photo ID upon arrival.

We recommend using our rental service, which allows others to use your items without needing direct access to the storage facility and with a written agreement in place.

This policy helps us maintain a secure and well-managed storage environment for all clients.

Can I cancel my storage?

Yes, you can cancel your storage at any time. Here’s how it works:

Monthly storage - you may cancel at any time, but no refunds are provided for the current month once billing has been processed. Please get in touch in advance of the billing date to confirm your cancellation.

Annual storage- If cancelling early, you can either: Continue with monthly billing until the 12-month term ends, or Request to pay the remaining balance upfront upon withdrawal of your items.
