Our company introduces a comingled approach to warehouse storage, where multiple organisations and independents can split the cost of a fully serviced and highly secure facility. Our pallet-based warehouse is designed for technical and events gear, and can be accessed by appointment with a team on-site to assist with storage logistics.

Asset Management

Asset management is offered as an optional add-on to our storage service, providing a clear system for our team to track, manage and maintain your equipment.

All items are inventoried and listed in our Storage Dashboard App, for customers to securely access product details including images, serial numbers, condition codes and test & tag or inspection status. Asset management is priced by item count and is offered across two plans:

Base Plan:
Offers inventory tracking with asset details, dashboard app access, item check-in and check-out status, rental listing, and quarterly stocktakes.

Service Plan:
Offers everything included in the Base Plan, plus annual inspection and test & tag, removing the need to book and quote these separately and ensuring your items are ready for use.

Rental Listing

While storing your equipment with Haze, we offer the opportunity for you to rent out your items and offset your storage costs. Through the Haze rental marketplace, idle equipment can be accessed in a controlled, low-effort way to benefit the wider Arts community and prevent unnecessary new purchases.

Rental listings are fully facilitated by Haze, under a rental agreement that places clear liability on the renter, protecting the owner’s equipment. All assets are closely inspected before and after hire, to manage wear, tear, and accountability.

Owners receive 30% of the rental value as credit towards any service offered by Haze, including storage, asset management, sales, technical support and rentals. Rental rates are weekly, with owners able to set their own prices or opt for Haze to apply standard industry rates.

Sharing seasonally used or specialised equipment helps to reduce duplicate purchases, and provides owners with the opportunity to support and participate in a more sustainable Arts community.

Storage Types

Choose from a range of standardised, industrial-grade storage types, offered at a flat monthly rate. All storage units are supplied, maintained, and managed by Haze, giving you consistent and reliable storage without needing to purchase the hardware yourself.

Containers can be used onsite or off-site throughout your subscription, with no upfront investment required. Below are our standard options, simply select the type that best suits your equipment.

Cage

A mesh, pallet‑sized crate ideal for keeping smaller or mixed items together while remaining visible and easy to access.

Pallet

Best suited for boxed or standard equipment that needs to be moved easily in and out of storage.

Stillage

Designed for larger, heavier, or awkward‑shaped items such as truss, staging, or equipment that doesn’t stack neatly.

IBC / Nally Bin

Ideal for safely storing liquids, loose materials, draping, and soft goods that need to be fully contained.

How It Works

1. Make an Enquiry

Tell us what you need to store and how you plan to use your equipment, and we’ll guide you through the right storage setup, asset management options, and any items you may wish to list for rental.

2. Receieve your quote

We’ll provide a clear quote based on your storage requirements, with optional add‑on services such as asset management and rental listing if required.

3. Confirm & Move In

Once confirmed, we’ll finalise your storage agreement and arrange your move‑in, either by drop‑off or pickup through our team. Asset‑managed items are catalogued after arrival and visible in the dashboard within two weeks.

4. Stored & Supported

Your equipment is securely stored in our serviced warehouse, with access booked by appointment and items able to be picked and prepared in advance. Our team is on hand to support access, handling, deliveries, and anything else you need along the way.

Our storage pricing is based on a standardised unit size, allowing you to store cages, pallets, stillages, or IBCs at a consistent fixed rate. Our team works closely with you to optimise your storage setup for maximum efficiency. Asset Management Pricing

Asset management is available as an add-on to storage and is priced based on the number of items managed. This keeps the model simple, transparent, and scalable. We offer two plan types to ensure you only pay for what you need. For clients managing more than 600 items, please contact us for a tailored pricing solution.

FAQs

Access

Access to the warehouse is by appointment only during business hours. Please note that the warehouse is not attended at all times.

Our business hours can be found on our Contact Us page. The warehouse is located in Bayswater, WA.

Appointments are free and can be made via the booking page on the storage dashboard or by contacting us directly. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is preferred, and short-notice access may not always be possible.

After-hours access is available with prior notice for a fee of $125.

Access is restricted to the primary contact listed on the account. If another person needs to access your items, we require:

All visitors may be asked to present valid photo ID upon arrival.

All Visitors must wear enclosed shoes and follow all site safety requirements while on the premises.

Payment and Pricing

All listed pricing is in AUD and inclusive of GST.

All services are invoiced, with pricing provided based on your specific requirements where applicable.

Please note that pricing is subject to change, and a formal quotation will be issued when needed.

Security

Haze Technical is committed to maintaining a secure and well-managed environment for all clients. Our facility is equipped with video surveillance and alarm systems to help protect our premises, equipment, and your goods.

Access to the warehouse is controlled and monitored, ensuring that only authorised individuals are permitted on-site. These measures are in place to provide a safe, reliable, and secure storage environment.

Insurance

Haze Technical does not provide insurance coverage for stored goods and does not accept liability for loss or damage to your property, including but not limited to theft, damage, or deterioration.

All items are stored at the client’s own risk. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange and maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their goods at all times while in storage at our facility.

We strongly recommend confirming with your insurance provider that your items are adequately covered for storage conditions.

Agreements and Terms

All services provided by Haze Technical are subject to our General Terms and Conditions. Additional agreements may apply depending on the type of service:

Storage services are governed by a Storage Agreement
Equipment rental (on-hire) is covered by an On-Hire Consent Agreement
Individual hires are issued with a Rental Agreement for each booking

By engaging our services, you agree to the applicable terms and agreements. We recommend reviewing all relevant documents carefully prior to proceeding. If you have any questions or require clarification, our team is happy to assist.

Commingled Storage Model

Our warehouse operates as a shared storage environment, with space utilised by multiple clients. As a serviced storage solution, Haze Technical manages the organisation and placement of all stored items. To maintain an efficient and functional layout, items may be relocated, consolidated, or repositioned within the warehouse from time to time.

Please note that all items belonging to a single client may not be stored together or in a single location. We take all specific requests and special handling instructions into consideration and will manage items accordingly where possible.

All cages and pallets are clearly labelled for identification. To ensure accurate tracking, we may apply ID labels to individual items at our discretion. Accurate labelling ensures items remain traceable within a dynamic warehouse environment. Clients are responsible for ensuring their items are suitably packed for a shared storage environment.

Fabrics & Fragile Items

Yes, you can store costumes, fabrics, and other delicate items with us.

Please note that while our facility is indoors, covered, and secure, it is not temperature-controlled. Natural light is present through skylights and is not controlled, meaning items may be exposed to changes in temperature, humidity, and light conditions over time.

These environmental factors may affect sensitive materials such as costumes, textiles, and other fabric-based items. We recommend ensuring all items are appropriately packed and protected for these conditions.

Haze Technical is not responsible for deterioration caused by environmental conditions within the warehouse. If you have specific preservation or storage requirements, please contact us to discuss suitable options.

Hazardous or High Value Items

To ensure the safety of all stored goods and maintain compliance with relevant regulations, certain hazardous or high-value items must be declared in advance and are subject to review and approval. All such items must be clearly detailed in your initial enquiry. Additional handling or storage fees may apply depending on the nature of the items.Haze Technical reserves the right to refuse storage of any items at its discretion. We take our responsibility to maintain a safe and compliant storage environment seriously. If you are unsure whether your items fall into these categories, please contact us.

The following items must be declared in advance and may be restricted or refused:
Flammable liquids (e.g. fuel, paint thinners)
Compressed gases (e.g. propane, butane)
Corrosive substances (e.g. acids, bleach)
Explosives or fireworks
Paint and associated materials
Toxic chemicals or pesticides
Radioactive materials
Batteries (particularly lithium-ion in bulk)
Precious metals (e.g. gold, silver)J
ewellery or gemstones
Cash or negotiable instruments
Collectibles or antiques
High-value electronics
Artwork or rare artifacts
Firearms, ammunition, or weapons (including props)
Illegal substances or contraband
Perishable goods or food items

Special Handling Requirements

If your items have specific handling or storage requirements, please include these details in your initial enquiry.

We understand that some goods require special care or unique treatment, and we are committed to accommodating these requirements wherever reasonably possible.

Custom handling instructions are welcome; however, additional fees or labour charges may apply depending on the complexity and resources required. Our team will work with you to ensure your items are stored, handled, and managed appropriately.

Please note that any approved handling requirements will also apply to third parties, including any authorised renters or users of your items.

Containers, Vehicles and Bulk Storage

At this time, we have limited capacity and are unable to accommodate vehicles, sea containers, or large-scale bulk storage.

This is a service we are actively exploring for future expansion. If you are interested in these storage options, please reach out to express your interest. We would be happy to keep you informed as our capabilities develop.

Sharing Storage Space

Yes, sharing purchased storage space is permitted.

However, we do not split billing between multiple parties. One individual or organisation must be designated as the primary contact, who will be responsible for all communications, payments, and agreements associated with the storage.

This approach ensures clear accountability, while still allowing flexibility for shared use of space.

Minimum Terms and Cancelation

Storage is provided on a month-to-month basis and can be cancelled in line with the notice requirements outlined below.

All storage and asset management services are billed monthly in advance and processed automatically.

A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required prior to the next billing date to cancel your service. If sufficient notice is not provided, an additional month will be charged

No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of a billing period after it has commenced.

You will retain access to all services until the end of your current billing period.

Following the end of your billing period:
You will have 5 business days to collect your goods
Access to the storage dashboard will be removed at the end of the billing cycle

Deliveries and Relocation

We offer delivery and relocation services within the Perth metro area. Regional deliveries or shipping can be arranged with prior booking and quotation.

All deliveries are pre-scheduled and booked in advance, and can be arranged via the storage dashboard.

We also offer an initial collection service for your goods when commencing storage, please request this at the time of booking.

Please note:
Delivery availability is subject to scheduling and operational capacity
After-hours deliveries may be available and will incur additional fees
For items that do not fit within our van or ute capacity, please contact us for a custom delivery quote
Delivery services include standard loading and unloading; additional labour or specialised handling may incur extra charges
Delays at collection or delivery locations may result in additional waiting time fees
Clients must ensure safe and suitable access for delivery vehicles at all locations
A representative may be required to be present at collection or delivery, unless otherwise arranged
Items must be appropriately packed and prepared for transport unless prior arrangements have been made
